<p>I guest you might be wondering why Breville doesn&#8217;t manufacture the masticating or triturating juicers. Well, with all the research that I have done on juicers, this still remain a puzzlement for me. But for whatever the reason maybe, I&#8217;m quite sure there&#8217;s an economic reason.</p>
<p>On a personal note, I do have the grandaddy of the Breville family, 800JEXL. I have had this machine for the last 7 years and I have never had any problems with it. But I couldn&#8217;t complete this blog without talking about the different concerns that current owners have had.</p>
<p>One of the most common concerns that I have noticed is that some owners complain that the Breville machines don&#8217;t juice or produce little or no juice from herbs or leafy vegetable such as wheatgrass; and they are correct. Breville clearly state in their user manual on page 24 that &#8220;<em>if juicing herbs or leafy green vegetables on their own, the juice yield will be low due to the nature of centrifugal juicing. It is advised to juice them with a combination of other fruit and vegetables</em>.&#8221;</p>
<p>Another concern from a few owners is that the Breville juicers don&#8217;t yield enough juice because the it&#8217;s not extract all the juice from the pulp. Thus, the pulp is often times wet. Again, on page 24 of the user manual it states &#8220;<em>to extract the maximum amount</em> <em>of juice always push the Food Pusher down slowly</em>.&#8221;</p>
<p>Overall, the Breville brand is an excellent choice for both beginner as well as the professional.</p>
